QPR’s Soccer Schools Success

QPR in the Community Trust’s popular soccer schools returned this week, as many children looked to stay active during the school holidays.

Although spaces on this year’s camps are limited, as a result of the current safety precautions.

Those who have taken advantage of our school at PlayFootball, which runs throughout August, have been able to enjoy playing the sport they love in a safe environment, with many measures in place to ensure our soccer schools are hygienic and protected.

When all children and staff first enter PlayFootball they are temperature checked and sanitised to maintain the safety of everyone on site.

As a result of the success of the first week back, the Soccer Schools will now be extended to a full day, compared to the half day sessions we were previously running.

Danny Harrigan QPR’s Soccer Schools Coordinator told www.qpr.co.uk: “This week has been a real success; all the precautions are in place for a reason and we must maintain our high standards.

“But to be able to open up for the full day highlights how confident we are that this has worked.

“All the staff and children have followed the rules, however have still had an enjoyable experience, as the measures haven’t effected our levels of coaching.”
