QPR were delighted to support our local neighbours and school Jack Tizard once again this Christmas, by sharing gifts bought by the club.
Positioned next to Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium on South Africa Road, Jack Tizard is a school for children with severe learning difficulties, including profound and multiple learning difficulties.
In recent years, members of QPR’s first-team squad have been on hand to give out the gifts, but of course due to current Covid restrictions from both the club and the school it was a much simpler process this time around, with staff members of the Community Trust dropping the gifts off.
The club paid for presents for all 71 pupils - ensuring smiles were put on faces for all the students this Christmas.
CEO of the Community Trust, Andy Evans explained: “To be able to continue our annual partnership with our valued neighbours at Jack Tizard is vitally important to us.
“Of course Covid restrictions got in the way of a physical player visit similar to what has taken place in recent years, but we have still been able to support them and the fantastic work they continue to do in a small but important way.”
Merry Christmas, Jack Tizard!
