QPR in the Community Trust are delighted to announce an exciting partnership with The Bike Shed Motorcycle Club, which will see us becoming a unique member of their ‘Bike Shed Community Response’ team.
On the heels of the country being placed in lockdown back in March, The Bike Shed Motorcycle Club – the moto-inspired destination, restaurant, and members’ club based in Shoreditch, London – mobilised its passionate and widespread community of customers, members, and followers to form Bike Shed Community Response – a 1,200-strong nationwide task force of on-call, volunteer riders providing critical support and supplies to the most vulnerable across the country during the COVID-19 crisis.
Working alongside the NHS, the Bike Shed Community Response team have helped individuals, families, frontline workers, nonprofits, and businesses with round the clock collection and delivery of vital supplies, equipment, PPE, and medicine – including the transport of Oxygen Saturation Meters, potentially life-saving devices that aid those affected by COVID-19 in determining if they are suffering from undetected ‘silent hypoxia’ and need to seek hospital care for urgent treatment.
This is where you, the Rangers fans, come into action – as we have paired up with the Bike Shed and are excited to launch “The QPR Angels”.
The “QPR Angels” are our very own biking community response group – set up as a dedicated arm of the Bike Shed Community Response initiative – and made up of any biking R’s fans who simply want to help the vulnerable in our local community through the collection and delivery of critical supplies and needs, including: Medication, Oxygen Saturation Meters, necessary welfare checks, and much more.
The “QPR Angels” will be working around the west and south west London area so that we can deliver Oxygen Saturation Meters and medication to the homes of the vulnerable and at risk within our community, as well as representing QPR with your very own QPR branded bib.

Vikki van Someren, CCO & Co-Founder, The Bike Shed Motorcycle Club told www.qpr.co.uk: “In these challenging times, it has been inspiring to see the motorcycle community come together across the country to support those in need.
“Which is why we are very pleased to partner with QPR in the Community Trust to create a special arm of the Bike Shed Community Response team called the “QPR Angels” - a dedicated group of volunteer riders made up of QPR fans and their loyal community.
“Having the “QPR Angels” as part of our team will help ensure the most vulnerable members of our communities continue to have access to the critical supplies, medicine, and support they need. We at Bike Shed are grateful to QPR and its dedicated fans for all their support with this important initiative.”
