QPR In the Community Trust will joining up with 13 other London Clubs to participate in this years “Race the Euros” and you can help us.
This unique virtual activity will give the Trust a great opportunity to raise some much-needed funds, during these unprecedented times.
Working in groups of 23, each Trust/Foundation from across the capital, will look to be the fastest to cover the 6,720 miles which separate all of the Euro 2021 Host Cities.
The event which runs during the month of March will see participants able to log their miles in nearly 80 different activities (subject to any Government guidelines).
We will be monitoring the government guidance on exercise and outdoor activities over the next few weeks and constantly reviewing and adapting the list of approved activities to make sure that the challenge can be completed safely and in line with all legislation.
A live event portal will chart the progress of each foundation team across Europe and as each squad reaches a host city, they will unlock information about that city and its footballing history.
All funds raised from the event will support QPR in the Community Trust’s amazing work in the local community.
However, there are many more people in need of support and for many months to come as the impact of COVID-19 continues to impact our communities and our people, affecting both their physical and mental health.
QPR Trust CEO, Andy Evans told www.qpr.co.uk: “During these tough times we are in need of these vital fundraising events and this fantastic event gives everyone an amazing opportunity to represent QPR in whatever way they want.
“We will be competing against our counterparts at local sides such as: Brentford, Fulham and Chelsea, so hopefully QPR can come out on top and with your support we can raise a huge amount.”
Entry is £10 but if you would like to represent QPR in the Community Trust place in the Race the Euros Virtual Event 2021 you can sign up by clicking here
