Schools get their hands on the Premier League trophy

QPR in the Community Trust were delighted to host one of English football’s most prized assets recently.

The Premier League trophy was the guest of honour at two of our local primary schools, St Joseph’s Catholic Junior School, Wembley and Fielding Primary School, Ealing.

While providing football and healthy living activities to accompany a Q&A with the trophy, the day was an ideal opportunity for QPR in the Community Trust to showcase their provision for schools in the local community, particularly the Premier League Primary Stars programme.

Arran Wilding, one of our Primary Stars Officers, told www.qpr.co.uk: “It was lovely to see all of the children engaged in the activities with smiles on their faces.

"Having the trophy was an exciting opportunity for the children to get a glimpse of what their Premier League idols compete for. Hopefully, it will inspire them to achieve their goals both on and off the pitch”.
