THE club are pleased to announce that QPR in the Community Trust have been selected to work in partnership with the Co-op Local Community Fund.
To help raise vital funds for the Trust’s fantastic work in the local community, we’ll be relying on QPR supporters and Co-op members. When fans buy selected products or services from the Co-op, they can help QPR earn one per cent of their shop through the partnership.
Co-op members can choose QPR in the Community Trust by going online at www.coop.co.uk/membership and picking QPR to help support the work the Trust do in the local community. To track how the fundraising is going, please go to: https://membership.coop.co.uk/causes/33573
Andy Sinton, QPR in the Community Trust Ambassador, said: “We are really pleased to be working alongside The Co-op. QPR fans are always fantastic at supporting our brilliant work and this is another chance for them to do so.
“The Co-op’s Acton store is just two miles from Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium so, if fans can sign up, they will be helping the Trust whenever they go in there. In addition to this, any Co-op member can help in their local store by going online and choosing QPR in the Community Trust’s project.”
If you currently aren’t a Co-op member and would like to support QPR in the Community Trust, you can join at your local store or online at www.coop.co.uk.
The money raised through this scheme will go towards sustaining QPR in the Community Trust’s family cook and eat and physical activity sessions every other Saturday morning, improving cookery skills and fitness. In the sessions, families work together to learn how to prepare healthy meals and take part in physical activity that will impact on their long-term health.
