QPR in the Community Trust have received some vital funding from United in Hammersmith and Fulham, to help support young people who are in need during this hard time.
Through our Youth and Communities department we run projects that target hard to reach young people in the north of Hammersmith and Fulham and in particular our Prevent and Prosper project has been working with young people who have been referred to us from the Youth Offending Team.
The young people who are targeted through the project often have complex needs and through our mentoring projects we have been able to build up a close relationship with them and they now make us aware when they need our support.
During this pandemic, it came to our attention that the young people needed help more than ever and a grant from United in Hammersmith and Fulham will be able to help us do this.
Fiona Hodgson, QPR in the Community Trust’s Business Development manager praised the initiative by telling www.qpr.co.uk: “We are delighted to have been awarded this grant.
“This will now allow us to continue to support local young people in Hammersmith & Fulham that we are working with through our Youth and Communities department and help them through these difficult times.”
