LAST month, QPR in the Community Trust were proud to support local school Ark Priory Academy as we attended their annual summer fair and sports day.
Members of our education team were in attendance for a day of football fun and activities all to help support the school.
The Trust were joined by various local organisations, including: Ealing Fire Brigade, Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward Estate Agents and Auntie Bonnies Jerk Pit.
Trust Primary Stars coach Josh Walker explained: "Seeing the children's reaction to winning kit and partaking in the QPR sessions was great to see.
"They responded really well and seeing them wearing the kit around the school shows the impact QPR is having.
"I think it’s very important that we as a Trust carry on having a positive impact on the children progressing forward."
Miss Vic, lead for the school’s summer fair, praised the impact of QPR’s attendance. She said: “We were absolutely delighted to have the wonderful QPR coaches join us at the Ark Priory School fair.
"The students enjoyed sessions in football, netball and multi-sports, as well as having the chance to win some QPR goodies in the mini-raffle.
Some of the Year 6 students also helped the coaches to sign-in the children and run the warm-ups and parts of the activities - a responsibility they loved!
"Having the QPR team at our fair added a layer of fun, fitness and professionalism and we were delighted to have them with us.
"We are thrilled that the fair raised just over £5,000 towards our school enrichment fund, which supports all sorts of dynamic and exciting projects and visits throughout the year."
