QPR’s #WalkFromHome campaign is closing in on its sponsorship target of £12,500.
#WalkFromHome was set up as a replacement for #TigerFeet11 – which had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic – and £11,800 has now been donated through it.
All of the money raised through #WalkFromHome will go directly towards the running of the Tiger Cubs Down’s syndrome football team.
QPR in the Community Trust CEO Andy Evans said: “I’m proud of everyone who has taken part in #WalkFromHome so far; that’s staff, players, former players and staff, and of course our brilliant fans.
“This is obviously a strange and challenging time for everyone but the generosity that the QPR family have shown in support of our Tiger Cub team has been overwhelming. Hopefully we can have one last push to hit our target.”
#WalkFromHome challenges supporters to sponsor their own piece of exercise in aid of a good cause and then nominate three friends to do the same.
