QPR’S official eSports team enjoyed an excellent first week at the start of Virtual Pro Gaming Season 13.
The R’s – who compete in and currently top both the English Premier (tier one) as well as Premier South, the second tier of a Europe-wide super league – were unbeaten at the beginning of their domestic league campaign.
Wins over Grotuncher (3-1) and Mercy (5-1) were added to with a 1-1 draw against Midland ES.
In Europe, the R’s were similarly dominant. Victories against Wolverines (3-2), Endangered (1-0), Anubis ES (6-3), Besaid Aurochs (6-0) and Team Konter (7-0) set the tone for the week, with just a solitary loss to Elite (1-0).
Finally, in the Europe Pro Cup – a Europe-wide cup competition – Rangers began their Group 41 campaign with a win and defeat in what is a four-team group.
The Super Hoops bounced back from a 2-0 reverse to SAF by overcoming Eclezya FC by three goals to nil.
