Formation and Tactics
Rotherham are an extremely hardworking side that likes to press high and are very dangerous from set-pieces. Their style of play is perhaps more direct then some of the sides in this division and they almost always play with a target man. The Millers will likely continue with their 4-1-4-1 formation despite the fact that Ryan Manning will be unavailable for this fixture.
Rotherham scored a late but deserved equaliser to snatch a point against high-flying Sheffield United. Warne’s side twice came from behind in a match where they had the better chances and showed great character to get something from the game.
Michael Smith – The forward is not prolific in front of goal but offers so much to Rotherham in terms of his hold-up play and bringing others into the game. Carries a particular threat from crosses.
One to Watch
Ryan Williams - The winger is very dangerous in one on one situations and is capable of operating on both flanks.
