QPR LADIES are delighted to welcome back striker Cherrelle Albert.
Albert, who’s enjoyed two prolific previous spells with Rangers, returns for a third stint after arriving from FA Women’s Super League (FA WSL) 2 side Watford Ladies.
The former Chelsea, Millwall and West Ham United striker becomes the R’s fourth signing since the turn of the year, and manager Martino Chevannes is especially excited about this one.
“I’m really pleased to have Cherrelle back with us,” he told www.qprlfc.co.uk. “She’s an accomplished striker with a terrific goalscoring record. Attack is an area we’ve been keen to strengthen and Cherrelle fits the bill perfectly.
“Having been at the club previously is a massive plus; she knows us, we know her and she knows the way we work. Her ability and experience in the FA WSL will be a huge asset to us.”
Albert is expected to go straight into the squad for Sunday’s FA Women’s Premier League game with Portsmouth at Honeycroft.
