Match Report: QPR U18s 8, Aldershot Town U18s 0

QUEENS Park Rangers’ Under-18s kicked off their pre-season campaign on Saturday, with an impressive 8-0 victory over Aldershot Town.

A hat-trick from Harry Murphy and efforts from Mason Obeng, Omar Eisa, Harun Hamid, Jaime Sacapon and Samuel Sachey wrapped up a fine afternoon for the young R’s, as preparations for the U18 Professional Development League Two South continued.

Murphy got the ball rolling in the 16th minute, before he doubled the R’s advantage 10 minutes later.

As we approached the half-hour mark, Mason Obeng was able to further extend Rangers’ lead, before Murphy completed the perfect first-half hat-trick when he slotted home in the 32nd minute.

Following the break, the R’s picked up from where they left off, with Eisa and Hamid quickly converting.

And with an hour on the clock, Sacapon and then Sachey completed what was a fine afternoon for Rangers.
