QPR youngster Charlie Rowan has put pen to paper on a one-year contract extension that commits to him to the club until June 2020.
Rowan, a ball-playing defender who is also a vocal presence on the pitch, joined Rangers’ U23s squad midway through last season after leaving Watford.
And having secured his future, he revealed to www.qpr.co.uk that he cannot wait for the new season to get started.
The 21-year-old said: “Last season was a bit of a set-back, in terms of injuries, so I wasn’t able to progress as much as I wanted but I feel like it’s a new start now, a clean slate and I’m buzzing to get started.
“The club are showing faith in me and they believe in me. They’ve given me a plan, told me where they want me next season and I’m really happy with that and can’t wait to start.”
