QPR Under-23s goalkeeper Murphy Mahoney has joined Stratford Town on a short-term loan.
The 19-year-old shot-stopper will stay at Knights Lane until January 1st 2022, where he will link up with former R's assistant manager and Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Tim Flowers - who was appointed Stratford boss late last month.
Mahoney - who joined the QPR Academy at the age of 10 and has already enjoyed a stint with Bath City this season - will head straight into the Bards' squad ahead of tomorrow’s (Saturday) home clash with Lowestoft Town.
Good luck, Murphy!
