Under-23s face Wycombe and Bovingdon

PAUL Hall’s Queens Park Rangers Under-23s side will take part in two separate friendlies this weekend.

As part of their preparation for the upcoming season, the youngster’s first match is a behind closed door fixture against a full strength Wycombe Wanderers side on Saturday and will be a 12:30pm kick-off at Harlington.

The second game is away to non-league Bovingdon FC and will take place in Green Lane at 4:00pm. This match is open to the public and tickets can be purchased on the day at the price of £3 for adults and free for Under-16's/Over 65's.

The Under-23s suffered defeat in their first pre-season friendly, going down 4-2 to what was a very strong Fulham side at their Motspur Park training ground. It was a brave effort from the youngsters who, in the first half especially, more than held their own.

Saturday will be another chance to impress Paul Haul ahead of the league and cup campaigns which will commence next month.
