QPR FC Women will kick off their 2020/21 London and South East Regional Women’s league by travelling to East Sussex for a trip to face Eastbourne Town this Sunday.
Rangers will then face a trip to local side Denham United Ladies, in the FA Cup. A tie which will see new signings Ellen Wardlaw and Katie Akerman face their former side for the first time since moving to west London.
The R’s will then prepare for their first home game of the campaign, against last season’s promotion rivals Dulwich Hamlet Women’s. The last time these two met in W12, Rangers came from behind to seal a dramatic 2-1 victory, moving them to the top of the table.
It is then planned for QPR to host Aylesford and then travel back down South, this time to Saltdean United, another tie which the R’s claimed a last gasp winner in last season.
Steve Quashie’s side will then end the current crop of fixtures, with a home tie against Dartford and then as we head towards halloween we will face a feisty away tie with Whyteleafe, who noticeably were the last competitive side Rangers played before the 2019/20 season was cut short.
Please note that with the current situation, as it stands all home games will be played behind closed doors, whilst with away games the situation will vary depending on each club, as soon as this changes we will promote accordingly.
