QPR FC Women are delighted to announce the signing of attacker Emilia Nygaard-Parsons.
Parsons, 18, joins Rangers from West Ham United as preparations for the new campaign begin to increase.
Emilia, who has previously had a four-year spell with the Irons in the WSL Academy League, becomes Steve Quashie’s second signing of the summer - following the arrival of Danielle Maloney - as we look ahead to the new season in the FA Women’s National League Division 1 South East.
After completing the switch to W12, Emilia told www.qpr.co.uk: “I am delighted, and I know I will really enjoy my football here.
“It’s a new challenge, as I go from academy to senior football, but I think playing at a club like QPR with the experienced players they have, I will definitely improve my game and hopefully I will be able to adapt quite quickly.
“I have been at West Ham United for the previous four years, in the WSL Academy League and hopefully I can kick on this season and get some vital experience under my belt.”
She added: “I really like the mentality here, Steve said that I will really enjoy my football here, while still improving.
“Obviously going up a tier will be a big challenge for us and hopefully it will be a successful season.
“For supporters that don’t really know me, I am an attacker that likes to run with the ball, get in behind defences and get some goals, and hopefully I can get a decent amount of them this season and win some matches for QPR.”
Welcome to QPR, Emilia!
