QPR FC Women are delighted to announce the signing of attacker Alice Curr.
Forward Curr joins Rangers from fellow fourth tier side AFC Wimbledon ahead of Sunday’s opening league clash with Stevenage.
Curr, 23, who began her career at west London rivals Fulham before enjoying a spell with the Dons, becomes manager Steve Quashie’s sixth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Danielle Maloney, Emilia Nygaard-Parsons, Katie McLean, Georgie Lewin and Lauren Jordinson.
After sealing the switch to W12, Alice told www.qpr.co.uk: “It’s amazing to be here and I can’t wait to get started.
“I am a goalscorer, I like to score, I like to impress the supporters and I’m sure people who know me from my time at Fulham know there will be a few dodgy celebrations to come along with it!
“I am ready for the season ahead, I think I can add some fourth-tier experience to the squad, so I am excited to get going and what we can achieve this year.”
Of course, Rangers kick off their 2021/22 FA Women’s National League Division One South East campaign on Sunday, with Stevenage first up for Quashie’s side at Hanwell Town Football Club.
Curr added: “Sunday will be a good test for us, but of course we will have a crowd back and that buzz will be unreal - it’s something we definitely need in women’s football and will make it such a fantastic occasion.”
