QPR FC Women are delighted to announce the signing of defender Lauren Jordinson.
Centre-half Jordinson joins Rangers following a period out of the game, after previous spells with Durham and Watford.
Lauren, who has previously played for R’s, goes straight into Steve Quashie’s squad for Sunday’s opening day clash with Stevenage FC Women.
Jordinson’s arrival sees her become manager Quashie’s fifth signing of the summer, following the captures of Danielle Maloney, Emila Nygaard-Parsons, Katie McLean and Georgie Lewin.
After sealing the move, a happy Jordinson told www.qpr.co.uk: “I am delighted to be back playing football and I can’t wait for what the season holds.
“I am a central defender that likes to get my foot on the ball - of course, I have experience of playing with some of the girls here, so I am excited to get started.”
QPR FC Women’s 2021/22 campaign gets underway this Sunday when the R’s host Stevenage at Hanwell Town, kick-off 2pm.
