WINGER George Thomas, who has also operated in other attacking roles, joined Leicester City from Coventry City in August 2017, following a breakthrough campaign that saw him score nine times in 36 appearances.
Born in Leicester, Thomas came through the ranks at Coventry before making his professional debut as a 16-year-old in Sky Bet League One against Leyton Orient in January 2014.
He continued to make a growing impact for the Sky Blues over the next few seasons, before ending the 2016/17 campaign as the club's top scorer with seven league goals.
Thomas scored the decisive goal at Wembley as Coventry overcame Oxford United 2-1 to lift the EFL Trophy, and also picked up experience out on loan with Yeovil Town during the 2015/16 campaign.
In his maiden season with Leicester, he appeared regularly for the development squad and was named on the bench for City's Premier League defeat at Liverpool at the end of 2017.
The entirety of the following season, 2018/19, was spent on loan at Scunthorpe United in League One, with Thomas making 40 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals and also registering seven assists.
He also made a handful of appearances during a loan spell at Dutch outfit ADO Den Haag at the start of 2020.
A Welsh international of three caps, he made his senior bow for the national team in a friendly versus Mexico in 2018.
Thomas became QPR's first signing of summer 2020, joining the R's on a free transfer on July 27th.
