QPR striker Matt Smith made his name at Oldham Athletic, after a number of spells in Non-League football.
He joined Oldham in May 2011, and made an instant impact in the Football League, as well as scoring against both Liverpool and Everton in the FA Cup.
His performances and goals earned him a move to Leeds United two seasons later, where he continued his upward surge.
He scored 14 goals in total for Leeds, before Fulham came calling in the summer of 2014.
A loan move to Bristol City followed and Smith proved a revelation at Ashton Gate, scoring 13 times in just 20 appearances - goals that helped the Robins on their way to the title and Johnstone's Paint Trophy glory.
He impressed once back at Fulham, too, notching five times in 12 outings. During the 2015/16 season, he made 21 appearances for the Whites, scoring twice, whilst adding two assists to his tally.
Ian Holloway convinced him to make the short journey to W12 in January 2017 and he rewarded the faith he showed in him with four goals, including a crucial strike against Wigan in a 2-1 victory.
Smith produced statistically the best season of his career during the 2017/18 campaign. He was a fundamental part of the reason why QPR had so much success at Loftus Road and in total scored 11 goals and laid on nine for his team-mates.
