DEFENDER Todd Kane joined QPR on a free transfer from local rivals Chelsea in the summer of 2019.
Right-back Kane is a product of the ever-growing youth system at Stamford Bridge, initially signing his first professional contract for the Blues in 2012.
Despite never making a first-team appearance for Chelsea, Kane would enjoy nine separate loan spells away from SW6, with stints at Blackburn Rovers, Nottingham Forest, NEC Nijmegen, Oxford United and Hull City helping him gain some valuable experience.
The former England Under-19 international eventually left Chelsea in 2019 after rejecting a new contract with the Blues, and joined QPR that summer.
The 27-year-old racked up an impressive 36 appearances in all competitions during his first season in the blue and white hoops, as well as scoring his first goal for the R’s in our 4-3 victory over Millwall in July 2020.
Kane would then go on to make 27 appearances for QPR throughout the 2020/21 campaign, scoring twice.
