HIGHLY-rated DR Congo attacker Yeni Ngbakoto joined QPR in July 2016 from French club FC Metz.
Born in Croix, Yeni Atito Ngbakoto - to give him his full name - joined Metz as a teenager, having initially began his football career at SC Clemenceau.
He excelled in the club's youth academy, drawing interest from a number of top clubs as his rise through the ranks continued.
His performances with Metz's Under-16 team led to a call-up to the France under-17 squad, before he put pen to paper on his first contract as a professional, penning a five year contract in 2009.
After making his full debut in January 2010, Ngbakoto went on to become a regular, featuring in the league for the first time in August 2010.
His steady progress continued thereafter, gaining caps for the French under-18 national side.
He joined Rangers having helped Metz regain their French top-flight status at the first time of asking, scoring 12 goals and contributing 11 assists in 38 appearances in Ligue 2.
During his debut season at QPR, Ngbakoto played mainly on the wing and scored four goals including the Goal of the Season winner for his spectacular free-kick against Birmingham City.
